Dr.
Victor E. Gatto, Jr.

Vice President
Victor E. Gatto, Jr., Ed.D., Dr. Gatto has extensive
experience in the education and nonprofit sectors
as an administrator and in technology companies
as a senior officer and director. Currently, Dr.
Gatto is Chairman of Achieve Telecom Network of
MA, a provider of distance learning solutions
for K-12 schools, colleges and government agencies.
Prior to his leadership of Achieve Telecom, he
served as CEO of the Northland Group, a management-consulting
firm that provided technology transfer for innovative
technologies from Oak Ridge National Lab. Dr.
Gatto directed the strategy to fund and manage
companies from three new technologies that lead
their market niche today. From 1991 to 1997, Dr.
Gatto served as President and CEO of MMT of Tennessee
Inc., a subsidiary of Molten Metal Technology
Inc. (MMT). Under his leadership, the Government
and Nuclear Sector of MMT produced more than $140
million dollars in revenue (99% of MMT’s
non-interest business revenue for the years 1992-1996),
and the sector grew from one person to more than
200 employees in five years. Dr. Gatto also served
for 20 years as head football coach and administrator
in higher education, specifically at Davidson
College, Tufts University and Bates College. Dr.
Gatto holds a BA, an Ed.M and an Ed.D. from Harvard
University.
